Eat The City is an UrbanFarmers initiative that targets to create innovative spaces for ultra-local and ultra-transparent fresh fish and produce. Eat The City kicks off with the hosting of an Opinion Leader Forum at the De Schilde building in The Hague.

This Opinion Leader Forum aims to engage important decision makers from the food industry and beyond, to discuss innovation in commercial food production for the future.

The event should spark a new era of novel interactions and relationships for the industry and beyond. The demand for innovative solutions is high and technical developments are rapid. The Opinion Leader Forum is dedicated to form a network of experts with different perspectives and to envision future roadmaps for commercial food production in urban settings.

This initiative is unique in content and scope – knowing, the demand for safe traceable local food is huge and growing steadily.

Starting with this Opinion Leader Forum, the innovation transfer will gain momentum in benefiting the consumers and the entire industry, radiating from the UF Lighthouse case in The Hague.
